From Guest to Distinguished Leader

Global Speakers' Circle follows a performance-based progression system designed to reward participation, achievement, leadership and contribution.

Advancement is not determined by time served.

Advancement is determined by measurable performance.

Every member is evaluated using a 100-point Performance Scorecard reviewed every six months.

Stage 1

Guest

Objective

Understand the GSC culture, pathway and meeting structure.

Requirements

✓ Attend at least 2 meetings
✓ Participate in at least 1 networking session
✓ Complete guest orientation

Advancement Requirement

Minimum 2 meeting attendances.

Performance Score

0–10 Points

Stage 2

Active Member

Objective

Develop communication confidence and consistent participation.

Requirements

✓ Attend at least 60% of chapter meetings
✓ Deliver a minimum of 6 prepared speeches
✓ Participate in at least 6 Table Topics sessions
✓ Perform at least 6 meeting roles
✓ Complete Level 1 educational pathway

Advancement Requirement

Minimum 50 Performance Points

50–69 Points

Stage 3

Advanced Member

Objective

Demonstrate communication excellence and leadership capability.

Requirements

✓ Attend at least 70% of meetings
✓ Deliver a cumulative total of 12 prepared speeches
✓ Complete at least 12 evaluations
✓ Perform at least 12 meeting roles
✓ Serve in at least 1 chapter leadership role
✓ Participate in at least 1 chapter competition
✓ Complete Level 2 educational pathway

Minimum 70 Performance Points

70–84 Points

Stage 4

Distinguished Member

Objective

Create measurable impact on members and the chapter.

Requirements

✓ Attend at least 80% of meetings
✓ Deliver at least 18 prepared speeches
✓ Complete at least 18 evaluations
✓ Mentor at least 2 members
✓ Serve in a chapter executive role
✓ Conduct at least 1 workshop, training session or educational presentation
✓ Participate in regional or national championships
✓ Complete Level 3 educational pathway

Advancement Requirement

Minimum 85 Performance Points

Performance Score

85–94 Points

Stage 5

Master Leader

Objective

Demonstrate sustained excellence, leadership, mentorship and organizational contribution.

Requirements

✓ Attend at least 85% of meetings
✓ Deliver at least 24 prepared speeches
✓ Complete at least 24 evaluations
✓ Mentor at least 5 members
✓ Serve as Chapter President, Founder or Executive Committee Member
✓ Lead chapter growth initiatives
✓ Conduct multiple workshops or educational programs
✓ Support creation of a new chapter or major organizational project
✓ Complete Level 4 educational pathway
